Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi: Celebrating Love and Family

Princess Beatrice and her beloved husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. The couple decided to tie the knot on 17 July 2020, despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally, they had planned to exchange vows at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace in London in May 2020. However, due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, they had to postpone their nuptials. Eventually, they opted for a last-minute socially-distanced ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. The couple’s modest ceremony was attended by fewer than 20 guests, including close family members such as the late Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the couple’s parents, and siblings.

Interestingly, Beatrice and Edoardo not only had to change the venue of their ceremony but also made adjustments to their wedding reception. Originally, they had planned to celebrate their union in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. However, circumstances forced them to reconsider, and they opted for an understated wedding reception at Royal Lodge instead. While it was confirmed that key family members such as the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the couple’s parents and siblings, and Edoardo’s son, Wolfie, were present at the reception, details about other guests remain undisclosed.

Following their wedding, Beatrice and Edoardo embarked on a new chapter in their lives by welcoming their first child together, a daughter named Sienna. Seeking a more peaceful and private life away from the public eye, the couple decided to move from London to the serene Cotswolds. Reportedly, they now reside in a £3 million property equipped with luxurious amenities like a swimming pool and tennis courts. While Beatrice used to live at St James’s Palace in central London, it is likely that they still retain their city residence for visits to the capital.

A Loving Family

Aside from being a devoted mother to Sienna, Beatrice also plays a significant role as a stepmother to Edoardo’s son Christopher, affectionately known as Wolfie, from his previous relationship with Dara Huang. In an interview with HELLO!, Beatrice expressed the bond she shares with Wolfie, referring to him as her “bonus son.” She also candidly admitted that homeschooling during the pandemic was not her strong suit, acknowledging the challenges she faced. Despite the difficulties, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to spend quality time with Wolfie during the school closures.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s journey as a couple is a testament to their love, resilience, and commitment to each other and their family. As they continue to navigate life’s challenges and joys together, they serve as an inspiration to many, showcasing the beauty of love and family in the face of adversity. Cheers to their fourth wedding anniversary and many more milestones to come!
